CULTURAL ARTS
PROGRAM
Our Cultural Arts Program is focused on fostering cultural understanding, ensuring Samoa’s traditions, art, and values are preserved and passed on to future generations with purpose and vitality.
PROJECT "PIFA" 2024
In 2024, PIFA (Pacific Islander Festival Association) celebrated 30 years of being one of the largest Pacific Islander Festivals in the world, bringing in over 10k participants during the two-day festival. The Samoan community of San Diego has proudly participated in PIFA Since the inaugural year. The Samoan Community Council of San Diego was a former long-standing organization that represented the islands of Samoa through cultural performance, led by our executive director Aunty Kiki for over 10 years. Fast forward, Taupou Samoa Cultural Arts is proud to embark on its first official community project to bring Samoa once again to the PIFA stage, representing our beautiful islands of SAMOA!
