Our Story
Since 1990, Taupou Samoa Polynesian Dance School has been dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich traditions of Samoa and Polynesia through dance, music, language, and storytelling. Rooted in the values of Fa'a Samoa family, respect, service, and unity, we have spent more than three decades strengthening cultural identity and bringing our community together.
In 2022, we expanded our mission by establishing Taupou Samoa Cultural Arts, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This marked a new chapter in our commitment to serving Samoan and Pacific Islander communities beyond the performing arts. We recognized the need to uplift our voices, address cultural and social disparities, and create opportunities for our people to be seen, heard, and celebrated every day.
Today, our work extends beyond cultural preservation. We have expanded our services to help reduce the disproportionate challenges faced by our community through programs that address food insecurity, mental health, health and wellness, cultural education, and community support. By combining cultural connection with essential resources, we strive to strengthen the well-being of individuals and families while honoring the traditions that define who we are.
At TSCA, we believe our culture is a living foundation for healing, resilience, and empowerment. Together, we are preserving our heritage, investing in future generations, and building a stronger, healthier community where Samoan and Pacific Islander cultures are recognized, valued, and celebrated for generations to come.
